Before You Get Started

Scope out a flat location in the area you want to monitor, with access to an extension cord and a power source.

How To Set Up Your EC-Series

It takes just four steps to set up your EC-Series Security System and secure your jobsite.

Step One: Set Up the Outriggers

To set up an outrigger, pull the spring-assisted pin up, and then pull the outrigger out to the designated position until the pin falls into place (you’ll hear a click).

Pull the pin on the extension of the outrigger, let it fall to the ground, and then find the closest hole to the top — the base may sit higher than the ground at this point. Slide the pin all the way through and attach the keeper pin on the other side.

Repeat on all four outriggers.

Step Two: Level the Machine

Once all outriggers are out, use the provided crank to lower each. Slide the crank onto the lug of the outrigger, then crank to lower until you feel a bit of tension with the ground. As it becomes taut, you’ll notice the two plates meeting together at the body of the unit.

Repeat on all four sides to get firm pressure on each. Check the leveler on the front of the system to ensure everything is level.

Step Three: Raise the Mast

Open the door of the system, and to the left, you’ll see a yellow remote control. Make sure there are no overhead obstructions, and then press the “Up” button on the control to raise the mast. Keep an eye on the mast’s pinhole — orange, then red, will indicate you’re nearing full extension of the mast. Once you reach the pinhole, slide the pin through and attach the keeper pin on the other side to lock the mast.

Step Four: Power the Device

To power the device, plug a cord into the socket on the front of the unit (this system is rated for 110 volts). Open the door to the system again to find 10 power switches. Turn on all switches to activate cameras, analytics, and auxiliaries.

Your jobsite is now secure!
